Description
Renovated in 2006 with a surface of about 150m2.
The finishes and the choices of materials were particularly well chosen.
This house can comfortably accommodate ten people in four bedrooms.
The ground floor has a living area of 50m2 where there is a sitting room with a comfortable couch installed in front of a larger than 3m fireplace. The dinning room can accommodate twelve people, and there is a U-shaped kitchen with an American bar, dishwasher, oven, microwave oven and extensive cabinet storage and an American-style fridge/freezer.
You access the south-side terrace by a double glass door.
The walls of the ground floor are in exposed ochre coloured sandstone, grouted in the old-fashion way and the numerous beams confirm the authenticity.
The ground floor has one bedroom with two bunk beds for four children or adults.
In the sitting room, the pull out sofa bed can accommodate two extra people, bringing up the capacity of the house to twelve people.
The two bathrooms, with apparent old wood work and stone walls have in total: four vanity sinks, two showers and one bath. There are two separate toilets, one on the ground floor and the other one at the first floor (with a sink).
On the first floor, under the original restored and enhanced wood work (XVII century), you can find three double rooms, each one with a full view of the valley. A wonderful panorama.
Wooden floors can be found on the first floor.
The utility room with a private washing machine and drier are also part of the equipment.
The Slater’s House has a private closed off garden, a secured heated swimming pool (10m by 5m) and is shaded by blackberry bushes.
A driveway gives access to a private parking for up to three cars completes this house.
You can rent this house together with The Shepherd’s House which would then accommodate fourteen people comfortably.
